SOME OF OUR PRODUCTS
Jak’s bakery will offer you an exciting and dynamic assortment of both sweet and savory baked goods, that take inspiration from Bulgarian traditions but offer a modern twist. They are hand-crafted from one of three types of traditional artisan dough that are specialties of Jak Latinov: sweet yeast dough, regular bread dough, and handmade phyllo dough.
BanitsaBanitsa is a traditional savory Bulgarian pastry made from handmade phyllo dough. The dough is pulled and thrown overhead to stretch it until it is so thin you can see through it. It looks a bit like a billowing sail into which we fold a mixture of feta cheese and egg (traditional).
